Derek is the head of client services for the private client and corporate services teams leading a team of over 40 associate directors and trust officers. For a number of years Derek was heading the business group concentrating on clients from the UK, India and the Middle East.

Derek was born and educated in Jersey. He has a wealth of experience in providing trust and corporate services to high net worth clients, whether they are individuals or large corporate institutions. Derek started his career in a bank trust company in 1975. He then moved to the trust department of one of the largest law firms in Jersey in 1979 where he became a director before leaving to set up his own corporate and trust services company in 1989. Derek joined City Management Limited in January 2001 bringing with him his client base. He has been a member of the Board of Minerva since 2005.

Derek travels to the Middle-East on a regular basis to meet clients and to assist in the development of Minerva’s office in Dubai.
